3 Reasons to Travel to Prague

Prague is the capital city and largest city of the Czech Republic. With it’s romantic riverside location, it remains one of Europe’s best-preserved cities. It’s easy to see why Prague charms everyone who visits, with its location enhanced by beautiful bridges, and an impressive skyline punctuated with medieval church spires. The historic Old Town is a collection of ancient squares and winding cobblestone streets, all in the shadow of her majestic 9th century castle that looks eastward as the sun sets behind her.

Prague is also a modern and vibrant city full of energy, music, cultural art, fine dining and special events catering to the independent traveller's thirst for adventure.

Spring is considered to be one of the best times to visit Prague since the weather is mild and not too hot or oppressive. In addition, the city’s numerous gardens are in full bloom and the hotel rates are still very reasonable, before summer arrives and the city is full to the brim with tourists.

There are many reasons to love and visit this beautiful city, but here would be my Top 3.

Top 3 Reasons I Love Prague

1. Breathtaking Views: The Czech capital is decorated with nearly a thousand towers and spires, making it a sight to behold. The ancient heart of the city can be admired from many different viewpoints, and few cities can claim to have such a picturesque river as the Vltava.

2. Beautiful Architecture: You don’t have to be an expert on individual artistic styles in order to appreciate the diversity of the city’s architecture. The different styles that blend together seamlessly make it so unique, that there really is no parallel anywhere in the world.

3. Great Beer: There are many places in Prague where you can get good beer, from classic pubs or in the ever more popular beer bars with more than a dozen beers from small and medium-sized breweries on tap.
